This Tapered Turbo Muffler Delete for Golf mk8 GTI and all the other MQB ‘EVO’ cars using the 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245ps engine is a sleek single billet design combined with a larger diameter silicone joiner hose which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence free air path exiting the turbo.
The standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor to reduce engine bay acoustics, but adds in disruptive turbulence to the airflow right where you don't want it.
Whilst the OEM part is a 38mm inner diameter throughout, the RacingLine tapered design enlarges that right up to 53mm, joining perfectly with the smooth 53mm, internally-stepped silicone hose.
By replacing the standard part with the tapered Turbo Muffler Delete and Silicone Hose, you’ll replace this unwanted restriction with a smooth CFD-developed uninterrupted air path.

FULL KIT
This tapered Turbo Muffler Delete comes with Silicone Joiner pipe which enlarges from the OEM 38mm diameter up to 53mm throughout. Supplied with both pipes and fitting clamps.
SMOOTH TRANSITIONS
By smoothing the airflow path out of the turbo up to the larger 53mm diameter and using an internally-stepped silcone pipe, this massively reduces the restriction and turbulence caused by the OEM part.
EASY FIT
Fitting is straightforward. The kit is installed in around 30 minutes using just hand tools. And easily returned to standard, should you ever wish. An essential fit with your R600 upgraded intake system.
