The Perfect seal must balance the 2 different forces, one at the edge of the cylinder wall (gas seal) and the second at the water & oil sealing. Power's unique design allows the gasket to seal evenly throughout the head, thus greatly reducing the chance of any head warp-age. In contrast, the stopper type of gasket where the primary sealing area may be secure, but at the extreme cost of deformation of aluminum surface and cooling inefficiency (which leads to excessive heat and head warp-age). Power has perfected the element of having bulletproof primary and secondary sealing capability that is second to none. are hard throughout the gasket making them only efficient at the primary seal. When a Stopper-Type Gasket is torqued down it forms unwanted grooves at the edge of the cylinder wall and concave grooves where the head meets the engine block. This uneven seal results in good primary seal but extremely poor sealing through the water jackets causing poor cooling properties. Sealing the head securely AND evenly will decrease the chances of catastrophic failure.
